General Information
The Gauteng & North West Provinces
have lots to offer to a tourist, and THE
CROCODILIAN ESTATE is situated
at the border on the N12, 40 mins from JOHANNESBURG
(70km)/ POTCHEFSTROOM (50km) route.
The CROCODILIAN will provide
all the tourist information that you may
require for both Provinces. This alone should
be of sufficient importance to visit the
venue.
The CROCODILIAN is open
7 days a week; it's the ideal stop-over
when traveling on the N12. Full English
breakfast is served weekdays from 07h00,
Saturday and Sundays from 08h00, at the
DUKES CHAMBERS in THE RUINS.
The Restaurant opens daily Monday to Saturday
at 11h00 and closes at 23h00. The restaurant
is closed on Sundays.
The LA CODA PIZZERIA provides
inexpensive ITALIAN dishes
in it's wood fired oven.
Enjoy pre-meal drinks in the delightful
Ol'CROC PUB. You can enjoy a pub lunch,
while watching your favourite sports event.
Wine lovers can taste estate wines prior
to making their choice of wine to compliment
their meal.
The CROCODILIAN is the
perfect setting, with its gardens including
the herb garden, live crocodiles on display
and water features, to take a stroll in
the late afternoon and relax before enjoying
an evening at the CROC. The guesthouse,
all rooms en-suite, will satisfy the Accommodation
needs of well-traveled patrons and the country
atmosphere at the CROCODILIAN
will ensure that your stay will become memorable.
The AVIGNON CASTLE, with
it's medieval setting, and entertainment
venues, is particularly suitable for group
bookings for functions and parties. AVIGNON
CASTLE can cater for all your needs
from one of our menu's, which include a
buffet, carvery, traditional braai or spitbraai,
to ensure an event to remember. The dance
floor with in-house sound equipment, ensures
an ideal party atmosphere.
Our CONFERENCE facilities
in the RUINS and FALLS complexes are designed
to cater from small intimate groups up to
120 persons. We can make your conference
ideas become reality.

West Rand Gold Mining area, and only a 40
minute drive from Johannesburg central.
